Scabal possesses true heritage; Beyond fabric collaborations with Salvador Dali, Scabal cloth was used for garments of some of Hollywood’s most iconic characters, such as Vito Corleone’s famous tuxedo, as worn by Marlon Brando in the Godfather, or Robert de Niro’s 70s suits in the movie Casino.
Vitale Barberis Canonico

Originally from Trivero in Northern Italy, the Loro Piana Family started as merchants of wool fabrics. Throughout the nineteenth century, the Loro Piana family developed a network of textile suppliers, before ultimately founding a wool mill themselves in the Italian village of Quarona. Today, Loro Piana (owned by the Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy group – LVMH) is not only a supplier of some of the world’s finest fabrics for tailoring, but also the largest manufacturer of cashmere in the world and a true household name in luxury fashion.
